Here in central Missouri, we were recently set upon by one of the worst snow storms in recent history, a genuine blizzard. There were 40mph winds and between a foot and two foot of snow depending upon exactly where you were. Here at the Patterson Ranch, we got approximately 16″. Its hard to say exactly because of all the drifting. As inconvenient as the snow storm was for travel, it did offer up some great photographic opportunities. Between the winds and the heavy snow, we were treated to some truly magnificent structures, swirls, and striations. We now have a whole gallery of snowscapes incuding up-close shots of wind-swirl generated sculptures and wider images of the snowy landscape. Printed on metallic paper, the detail and color in these images will really stand out and make a perfect accent to any room or office.
